Current Classes and Services
Lilli Pell Oil Painting Classes - every Thursday, 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. Beginning and Intermediate students are welcome. Friendly and relaxed atmophere. Students are encouraged to paint in their own style. 4th Sunday of Each month (excluding December) 7:00 PM - Wimberley Alliance of Ministry hosts a worship service of prayer, music, and meditation. This is modeled after a form of worship that was developed in Ta Ze, France, and allows participants the opportunity to slow down and reflect on the blessings of life. This services lasts approximately 30 minutes.
The Wimberley Valley Art League Gallery in the foyer of the community center is now open Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30, and will be staffed by members of the league on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00 PM. Please come visit the second Juried Member’s Show, which serves as a continuing venue for local and visiting art appreciators to view and purchase the works of art league members. The gallery will feature bi-monthly juried shows.

Music Together ® is an early childhood music and movement class for infants, toddlers, and pre-school aged children…and the grown-ups who love them. It is an international program that provides musical experiences in a playful, exploratory setting. Music Together classes are based on the idea that making music with children, in the family and in a group of families enriches the lives of children and parents and promotes musical growth. The 10 week fall sessions run from September 10 – November 15, 2007. We offer morning and now ALSO EVENING CLASSES! Classes are Monday mornings at 9:30 AM or 10:30 AM and on Thursdays at 6:00 PM.  Check-Up Tuesdays
Second Tuesday of each month; Wimberley Community Center 9:30-10:30 AM. Medical Quick Checks for Seniors- Wimberley Community Center Betsy Martinez, RN, will be conducting blood pressure checks, spot checks for blood oxygen saturation, diabetic and foot circulation testing, and answering general medical questions for the seniors of our community. This is a free service. Service provided by Wimberley Home Health Hospice; learn how it’s helpful while dealing with loss, comfort and support for loved ones and the family. Service provided by Hope Hospice. Reflexology and Acupuncture information available, learn how alternative medicine can help you.
