About the center

The Wimberley Community Center is a central destination for events, senior activities and community gatherings in the Hill Country. The facility includes Johnson Hall, a commercial kitchen, a foyer and lounge with a fireplace, and studio meeting rooms. Wireless internet is available throughout the facility, and there is ample lighted parking on site.

The center is the home of the Wimberley Valley Art League. The Reception Hall (17x48) has an entrance off RR12 and River Road, and the Senior Citizen Center entrance is around to the right. The facility sits adjacent to a nature wildlife area and bird habitat.
